And enlightenment comes through the procurement of knowledge that is brought to the fore through education. Keeping this in mind the Islampur Welfare Education Society laid the foundation of THE SCHOLAR, Islampur, Uttar Dinajpur on 2nd May 2001. Since then 'The Scholar' has blossomed and rendered its services to educate the budding minds of learners and to groom them as global citizens, ready to accept the challenges of the world.

I believe, THE SCHOLAR will continue to put emphasis on the golden lamp of educating and nurturing the innovative minds to flourish in a unique ambience of holistic education so that they can meet any challenge and reach their goals with courage and conviction.
